Metallurgical laboratories among the best
The laboratories of the Częstochowa Steelworks were accepted as real members of the POLLAB Polish Research Laboratories Club.
A relevant document, issued for Sunningwell International Polish Branch in Częstochowa, was sent to the Steelworks in January.
“It is a professional club associating the best research laboratories in Poland”. – says Arkadiusz Pyrkosz, head of the Quality Control Department. – The acceptance as a member confirms the high level and credibility of our Laboratories and the competence of our employees.
Membership in the POLLAB club provides an opportunity to exchange experiences, participate in comparative and inter-laboratory tests and facilitates familiarization with technical novelties. Members of the club hold regular meetings.
These inter-laboratory tests are required by some accreditation institutions, which issue certificates for industrial companies.
In the case of Huta, it is a continuation of tradition, as it has belonged to POLLAB since 2008, but under its previous brand. It has now been accepted as a branch of Sunningwell. Recently the Steelworks has also received a certificate of factory production control concerning the manufacture of steel structures according to EN 10-90-2 standard, as well as the highest standard of Welding Quality System ISO 3834-2.
